ALL VEHICLES RACING WITH ONDR MUST MEET NHRA/IHRA AND LOCAL TRACK RULES 

DRIVER MUST BE an ONDR MEMBER


GENERAL RULES FOR ALL CLASSES:


Aftermarket fuel injection kits allowed that bolt to the carburetor intakes only.No fuel rails or port injectors, must be contained in throttle body.May be used on engines originally equipped with carburetors only.

No modern injected engines.

Modern engines may be used with carburetors only.

Driver must be an ONDR member in current year in order to race.

No Nitrous in any class. Bottle must be removed

No delay Boxes in any class. Box must be removed.

MSD GRID system is allowed, however the ARC system is not. Use of the ARC system will result in you being banned for life from ONDR events.

Drive shaft loop required on all cars that have racing slicks.

1974 and Older Cars and 1/2 Ton Trucks which meet ONDR rules

No Delay Boxes. No transbrakes.

Solenoid Controlled Shifters are not allowed in this class

Foot or hand activated brakes must be used to hold the car on the starting line.

1/8 Mile Dial In Time 7.63 seconds and slower

1/4 Mile Dial In Time11.90 seconds and slower


2021 NOSTALGIA GAS CLASS RULES N/G


1974 and Older Cars and 1/2 Ton Trucks Which Meet ONDR rules

No Delay Boxes, No Trans Brakes.

Air or electric shifters will be allowed RPM activation in FEDs and Altereds for safety reasons

because of space limitations.

Foot or hand activated brakes must be used to hold the car on the starting line.

1/8 Mile Dial In Time6.68 to 7.77 seconds

1/4 Mile Dial Time10.40 to 12.10 seconds

Two steps allowed in this class without the use of a transbrake

High speed retard allowed.

1974 and Older Cars and 1/2 ton Trucks Which meet ONDR rules

Trans brakes are allowed in this class.Adjustable buttons also allowed in this class only.

Two steps allowed in this class.

All vehicles using transbrakes regardless of E.T. will race in this class

High speed retard allowed.

Air or electric shifters will be allowed RPM activation in FEDs and Altereds for safety reasons because of space limitations.

Data recorders allowed in time trials only.

Slider clutch data monitoring allowed in time trials only.

1/8 Mile Dial In Time 6.82 seconds and faster

1/4 Mile Dial In Time10.60 seconds and faster


2021 NOSTALGIA CLASSIC RULES N/CC


1975 to 1985 N.American cars and 1/2 ton trucks with gas engines

Cars must meet all ONDR rules. Not a points class at this time

No Delay Boxes . 

No solenoid activated shifters. 

No transbrakes.

Foot brake must be used on starting line

1/8 Mile Dial In Time 7.37 seconds and slower

1/4 Mile Dial In Time 11.50 seconds and slower

Payouts will be based on tech cards sold at each race up to the regular normal payouts for other ONDR classes


2021 NOSTALGIA OPEN CLASS RULES OPEN


Any vehicle which qualifies in 1 of the above 4 classes can run in Open.

This is unstructured, with no prizes or points. It will be called each time the other classes run.

Dial ins are required on all cars once eliminations start.

Can be used for test and tune, practice, licensing, and match/grudge racing with others for fun.

Groups may have their own special races within the class.

Racers who sign in to one of the 4 classes above may switch to Open after losing in eliminations.

Those who spend the whole day in Open will pay for a tech card.Those who switch after being eliminated in their main class do not pay anything extra.

Classic (N/CC) - 1975 - 1985

1/8 mile - 7.37 and slower 

1/4 mile - 11.50 and slower 


Hot Rod (N/HR)

1/8 - 7.63 or slower

1/4 - 11.90 or slower


Gas (N/G)

1/8 - 6.68 to 7.77

1/4 - 10.40 to 12.10


Comp (N/C)

1/8 - 6.82 or faster

1/4 - 10.60 or faster

+ any car with a transbrake

     Race Format:

You have to be a member to race with us. Race fees will be $15.


Anyone who loses in rounds 1, 2, and 3 is welcome to come back up in the OPEN class to continue racing for practice and fun, at no additional charge.


Based on the new format, there will not be any consolation races, and you do not have to pay another $10 like you did with the consolation race. 

There is therefore no double dipping allowed, except at Shannonville and any race we designate.


We usually have 9 points races and count 6, and we have 6 non-points races as well.

Points will be based on your best 6 points events.

2 points for signing in,

2 points per round win,

1 point for class winner. 


TIE BREAKING PROCEDURES FOR FINAL POINTS: If there is a tie in points at the end of the last race of the season, it will be broken down as follows: 1. Most event win points, if still a tie, then 2. Most event runner up points, If still a tie, then 3. Most round points. If still a tie, then 4. Head to head competition. If still a tie, then 5. Furthest in competition at a single event. If still a tie, then 6. The awards will be split between those tied.

RULES (for fun run cars):


Drivers must wear helmets. If car is quicker than 13:99 (¼)/9:00 (⅛) driver must have Snell 2015 helmet. Neck support collars strongly recommended. Cars will be inspected by track tech or ONDR and must have:


Proper seat belts, radiator overflow container with enough empty room to contain any coolant expansion, securely mounted batteries, and be in generally safe condition with no loose parts that may fall off.


Cars running slicks must have a driveshaft safety loop, 1/4"X 2" steel minimum. Cars running quicker than 11.50 (require roll bar/cage and SFI seat harness) are NOT allowed in this class.


Track Tech officials have final say in all questions of eligibility


Air Conditioning and Defrosters which use A/C must not be used on any pit road or the staging lanes and track. This avoids water spills on pavement.


Runs will be made at the end of Open Class.


Cars will be given several chances each day in rotation with other classes. Drivers will pay to enter the track front gate


A $15 tech card fee will be paid at the ONDR booth for each day of Fun Runs. ONDR memberships are not required to do this.
